When we think about technology, unicorns, startups we almost automatically think in Silicon Valley, in Palo Alto, all other cities and tech regions fade in comparison, well that is not the case of Hamburg, yes there's still a lot of things that the city needs to improve, but what i mean with this is that you no longer need to be in California to create an innovative company or startup, there is a lot of opportunity everywhere, what we need to make sure is that the venture capital is not looking only to the pond where there is a sea of opportunities in each country.

I recently spoke with Christian Grohganz, the Founder of Weltfern, a startup company that focuses on Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence, 3D Design, UX- & UI-Design from Germany, specifically from Hamburg.

Hamburg has always been one of the most important cities of Germany and without a doubt one of the most prosperous, that in my opinion has led to the growth of new opportunities like startups, venture capital, a multicultural society, well connected and with international influence that provides a healthy environment for companies like Weltfern to establish their operations.

Virtual Reality still seems far away, so did Drone technology 8 or 10 years ago, they were there, we knew they existed but never thought that by 2019 almost every city in the world would have small to medium size businesses focusing on solutions for events, marketing, enforcement, security, surveillance or just to publish a video on youtube, everyone knows them now.

This is what weltfern is aiming for, the next step for every company to adopt their technology and services, it is a universe of its own, with solutions that range from healthcare, architecture, gaming, engineering and design, to solutions for augmented reality that help us understand better problem solving challenges, technology that can be adapted for repair, measurements, control, monitoring and predictive solutions for almost any industry you can imagine.

Nowadays it does not matter where you are in the world, every entrepreneur can be innovative, adapt technology, solve local issues that may impact positively the rest of the world.

Christian is one of those entrepreneurs changing the game, giving solutions to everyday challenges, technology is there, it is our choice to enhance our productivity, quality of our products and the experience of our clients.
